Book Your Seat at the Table!

We're located in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood at 1115 W. Armitage Ave, Chicago, IL 60614. We're just two blocks west of the Armitage Brown/Purple Line stop.

There is plenty of metered parking right on Armitage and side streets.

Yes! We have packaged food and canned non-alcoholic beverages available at no additional cost. We also offer BYOB for our over 21 patrons. We have ice and glasses available for your use.

Yes! For patrons 21+, we are happy to allow you to BYOB. We have ice and glasses available for your use.

Mahjong Specific

Beginners have taken mahjong 101 or equivalent classes and understand the basics of American Mahjong rules. They are comfortable playing 2-3 games in a 2 hour period.  Intermediate players are experienced and comfortable playing 5-6 games in a 2 hour period.  

Book Your Mahjong Lesson

No need to bring anything! We have all the necessary equipment including NMJL cards and mahjong sets. If you have your own card, please feel free to bring it. If not, we'll have one on hand for you.

While not required, it's recommended that you have a basic understanding of mahjong rules and strategies prior to joining us for open play.

If you're brand new to mahjong and would like to learn the fundamentals, we'd love for you to join us for our Mahjong 101 lessons.

Yes! We'd love for you to join us whether you're flying solo or with your crew!

Book Your Mahjong 101 or 102 Lesson

Unfortunately not. We ask that reservations for our classes and open play be made in advance. This helps to ensure table assignments are made accurately based on skill levels and depending upon seat requests for pairs and groups.

While we do not currently, we are eagerly working on a membership package and can't wait to share more! If you're interested in becoming a founding member, submit your information below and we'll keep you in touch when the opportunity launches!

Yes, we have a limited number of NMJL cards available for purchase at the parlor.

Yes, we're happy to host a private class or group event for groups of 8 or more.
